In recent years, following the opening of Malpensa airport and the new fairground in Rho, Milan has undertaken a major development towards the north, until it reached a saturation level.

On the contrary, also in view of EXPO 2015, the most recent initiatives are directed towards the south. In particular, the area where the connection to Autostrada del Sole (A1/E35-E45, the Milan-Rome-Naples motorway) meets the junctions of the two ring roads, east and west, is the subject of two major projects.

Behind Rogoredo, albeit with some delays, the Santa Giulia project is in advanced stage of implementation. This area will become an important commercial hub to which the offices of a number of major companies are expected to migrate: among them, the first was Sky, presently Italy's third major TV broadcaster after RAI and Mediaset.

On the opposite side of the motorway, in the area known as Porto di Mare and Parco Cassinis (the former Parco delle Rose), the Milan City Council approved the creation of an ambitious project that will be realized in the so-called “Citadel of Justice”.

This project, which should be achieved by 2015, will see the construction of a new prison and a modern courthouse, as well as all relevant infrastructures.

Behind Via Fabio Massimo new buildings will house the offices of all the above operators. To serve the project, Residence Corvetto is available to assist the lawyers on mission.
